Biomedical ConferenceThe Foundation provides financial support for a two-day international conference of the Royal Society of Edinburgh on aspects of biomedical research. Its aim is to encourage the participants to take a multi-disciplinary approach to consideration of problems in current biomedical research and the conference themes reflect this.
The next International Biomedical Conference, entitled "Stem Cells as Therapy", will be held in Edinburgh in the spring of 2009. Further details will be available here shortly.
Inflammation & Inflammatory Disease was the title of the 2007 Conference, held in Edinburgh on 29th and 30th November 2007. A report of the proceedings will be published soon. In the meantime, the final conference programme, with abstracts and speaker biographies, is available and may be downloaded from here as a PDF (451Kb) file.
